When the hits keep on coming and one day runs into the next, it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

But “A Rainbow Tomorrow” is a sweet track that reminds us all that maybe brighter days are on the horizon. Through words and some very special visuals, we’re reminded that we are all connected, and can lean on each other when we need a little help to push through to tomorrow.

“Oye” is an invitation to join us in song and dance and celebrate life. This bilingual song, performed by the choristers in English and Spanish, is a joyous, virtual dance party that reminds us that though we may be in our homes, we are not alone. “Are you listening?” Your friends at YPC are calling.

“Together Wherever We Go” shares a message of strength, togetherness, and unity, that is distinctly NYC.

At YPC, our choristers meet, befriend, and work with children from all over the city, and find strength in a loving and supportive community of diversity. In this track, our choristers pay tribute to this strength, showing how strong New York City is and can be if we all work together to get through hard times.

Though the start of school looked a lot different for the children of YPC this year, they joined forces to record “Three Little Birds” from their homes.

This song reminds us that this year may have brought us many new challenges. Yet, through it all, music continues to prevail, heal, and carry us through each moment, keeping us connected no matter where we are living and learning.

A heartfelt shout-out to all the teachers who give so much in their in-person and virtual classrooms, “If You’re Out There” is a sweet, inspiring track.

Recorded this summer by the young, hopeful public school students from the YPC’s Schools Chorus Program, this performance proves that we can still continue to make music while looking ahead to a time when we will be able to sing together in person, once again.

“Whistle A Happy Tune” shows us that now and then, the best advice we can take is from our children.

Our children are resilient and have kept on singing, playing, rehearsing, and performing. Though the world around us may be uncertain, if we stand bravely and sing the song that we hear in our heart, we can find courage even during times when that courage feels hard to come by.

Since 1999, “Give Us Hope” has served as YPC’s anthem to the world.

YPC joined with “The Call to Unite” on a virtual platform to come together with artists, musicians, world leaders, and visionaries from all over the world for a 24-hour global livestream event. In this context, “Give Us Hope” takes on an elevated meaning, bringing people together during a time when we are all physically separated in a “celebration of our shared humanity.”

From virtual school to our new “work-from-home” setups, this year presented the opportunity for all of us to rediscover the role our homes play in our lives.

Without our regular routine, the days and hours seemed to run together and all of us had to find a new way to define our work day. This playful medley highlights the competing emotions many of us are feeling: the frustration of endlessly adapting to a new grind coupled with the desire to just “let loose!”

To pay tribute to all the heroes who normally bring so much life and joy to New York City, we collaborated with the University Glee Club of New York City to record an exciting, vibrant version of “Brotherhood of Man,” from Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
